Pedro Alcocer is a principal and consulting actuary in the Tampa office of Milliman. He joined the firm in 2011.
Experience
Pedro’s experience covers a wide range of healthcare topics with a significant emphasis on ACA-related matters. Pedro has been helping organizations since 2014 with strategies around rate setting and plan designs as well as carrying out successful completion of a large number of rate filings in the individual and small group markets across many states. Pedro also has a very strong foundation in Medicare Advantage, helping organizations successfully complete MAPD bids.
Prior to joining Milliman, Pedro spent more than 10 years at a large managed care organization honing his leadership, management, and technical actuarial skills. Pedro is fully bilingual in Spanish and English, helping clients within and outside the U.S. mainland.
