Experience
Scott has more than 15 years of experience in healthcare analytics. Prior to joining Milliman, he served as the director of medical economics for a disease management vendor and senior health analytic consultant for a major benefits consulting firm. Examples of his specific client work include the following:
- Developing metrics and dashboards for monitoring and evaluating medical plan performance and related interventions (e.g., disease management, high-deductible health plans, price transparency, etc.)
- Negotiating performance guarantees related to care management programs
- Benchmarking on specialized metrics (e.g., unit price variation for high-cost services, health risk migration for members with common chronic conditions, utilization for preference-sensitive conditions, etc.)
