Chip Fetherston
Chip Fetherston is a principal and healthcare analytics consultant with the Milwaukee office of Milliman. He joined the firm in 2011.
Experience
Chip’s area of expertise is assisting clients in understanding and maintaining healthcare data. He works with health plans and state Medicaid agencies to effectively manage, organize, and warehouse health claims data.
Chip implements healthcare data warehousing systems, including Milliman’s MedInsight data warehouse and designs data analysis and performance measurement systems for clients. He has experience working with a variety of data sources, including health plan data, pharmaceutical data, and managed care encounter data.
Prior to joining Milliman, Chip spent more than 10 years working in the pharmaceutical industry as a technical project manager. In this role, he implemented several transactional and data warehousing systems and solutions. Chip was responsible for managing the design, development, and implementation of a data warehouse to support an expansion into the Canadian pharmaceutical market. He also managed and developed client / server applications to interface with multiple database platforms. In addition, he was responsible for designing and developing reporting solutions to support a variety of business needs.
