Jeremy Hamilton is a senior consulting actuary with the Milwaukee office of Milliman. He joined the firm in June 2011.
Experience
Jeremy has served many types of clients in his time with Milliman. His areas of expertise include Long-Term Care (LTC) Insurance and Medicare Advantage.
LONG-TERM CARE INSURANCE
Jeremy is experienced in performing projections of individual and group LTC blocks of business and analyzing and summarizing LTC data. Recent projects include:
- Handling LTC insurance state rate increase filings and objection support
- Performing experience analyses
- Conducting product development and pricing
- Conducting gross premium valuations
- Appraising LTC blocks of business
MEDICARE ADVANTAGE
Jeremy has also spent a significant amount of time working for several organizations that offer Medicare Advantage plans. His Medicare Advantage experience includes the following:
- Discussing strategic considerations of product and benefit offerings
- Developing cost and revenue projections to assist clients in making strategic decisions
- Developing bids and supporting documentation to submit to the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS)
- Developing projected trends in prescription drug prices in most bids produced by Milliman
- Conducting formulary analyses
