Dan Hare is a senior trader and works for the global Capital Markets and Hedging Group within Milliman’s Financial Risk Management Practice in Chicago. This group advises clients in banking, insurance, mortgage services, and funds management on financial risks, hedging strategies, and trading operations. Dan currently manages several hedging programs for both U.S. and International clients. The client products include variable annuities, fixed index annuities, ETFs, and the Milliman Managed Risk Strategy (MMRS).

Experience

Dan has more than 30 years of experience in capital markets. Prior to joining Milliman, Dan worked for ABN Amro Bank, Societe Generale, Bear Stearns, and Dean Witter. His primary focus was foreign exchange options trading. He has been a market maker and a portfolio manager. He has worked closely with international sales teams in identifying successful client solutions using various option strategies. Dan has also been a member of the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.
