She has worked with traditional qualified DB plans as well as cash balance plans. She has defined benefit administration experience with data clean-up projects, lump sum cashout projects, and plan terminations.
Amanda Kester is a DB senior client service analyst for the Pension Administration Services team in the Milliman Employee Benefits Administration and Consulting Practice. She is responsible for the delivery of all aspects of defined benefit administration services to her plan sponsor clients and their participants.
Current responsibilities for Amanda include providing plan-specific responses to client and participant inquiries and performing and reviewing benefit calculations. She analyzes data and produces reports for annual valuation extracts, benefit statements, and special projects. She works to build relationships with client contacts with the goal of understanding expectations, anticipating needs, and suggesting solutions. Her goal is to provide the participant and the client with the highest quality customer service and work product. Amanda has worked at Milliman and in the retirement industry since 2018.
