
Alex Lewis
Alex Lewis is a consulting actuary with the Life Insurance Consulting Practice of Milliman. He joined the firm in 2019.
Experience
Alex is a leading expert in nonguaranteed elements analysis and governance. He has hosted seminars on those subjects for actuaries and leadership with many different companies. Alex has served as a modeling team leader on MG-ALFA and Integrate model build and validation projects.
Alex has worked in litigation support and expert witness testimony support. He has extensive experience in class action cases, mostly related to nonguaranteed elements. He also has experience in other breach of contract claims. Most of the cases relate to life insurance policies, but he also has experience in other cases where there is value in having an actuarial perspective.
Alex also has experience in life insurance product pricing and product development, reinsurance pricing, and mergers and acquisitions.
Prior to joining Milliman, Alex worked for nearly four years as an actuarial analyst with pensions and other retirement products. Prior to that, Alex was a high school math teacher.
