
Eilish Moloney
Eilish Moloney is a Director in Milliman’s Dublin office. Eilish joined the practice in June 2022.
Experience
Eilish has 12 years industry experience across a wide variety of clients. Her experience is primarily in life and health in both the Irish domestic and cross-border life assurance markets and the Australian life assurance industry.
Her expertise includes valuation and financial reporting, risk management, pricing and product management, Solvency II, IFRS 17, and other consulting work.
Eilish has in-depth Solvency II knowledge and experience and has supported clients in meeting Solvency II requirements across the three pillars. She also has experience working with the IFRS and MCEV reporting regimes.
She is Deputy HoAF for a health and non-life client based in Dublin where she leads a Milliman team to carry out the duties of the Actuarial Function. This includes the application of expert judgment in assumption setting, calculation of the technical provisions and SCR, along with delivery of the ARTPs, ORSA, and underwriting and reinsurance opinions.
She has supported a client in transitioning to IFRS 17 including working with a parent company on the implementation and building processes and controls for the local entity.
Her experience has involved communicating with and influencing key stakeholders at Board and Senior Management level and she has strong interpersonal skills.
Prior to joining Milliman, Eilish worked for KPMG Australia where she was a life consultant. She also worked for New Ireland Assurance where she held various roles including leading a reporting team with responsibility for the calculation of the SII position of the company on an annual and quarterly basis.
