Danielle Rubin
Danielle Rubin is an actuarial manager with the Hartford office of Milliman. She joined the firm in 2021.
Experience
Danielle uses a combination of data analytics and actuarial skills to provide value to small and large clients in the public and private sectors. She excels at extracting actionable insight from complex data.
Danielle has a broad range of experience working with administrative medical and pharmacy claims. She has experience performing episode-based analytics to help clients structure value-based care contracts, benchmark specialists, create use-case specific risk adjustment models, and drill down on drivers of health care cost.
She also has experience supporting drug and device manufacturers by performing health outcomes and economics research studies and analyzing market access strategy.
Danielle is passionate about public health and health equity and holds a special interest in overdose prevention. She volunteers for the Society of Actuaries Opioid project oversight group and has performed studies related to overdoses. She also has experience merging publicly available social determinants of health data and consumer data with claims data and analyzing these multiple sources in tandem.
Danielle has also processed and analyzed Medicare Part D claims and supported Medicare Part D formulary development and modeled the impact of various formulary legislation and patent losses. She has also supported rate development and surplus analysis for nonprofit organizations.
