Brad Weyand is an actuarial analyst with the San Diego office of Milliman. He joined the firm in 2020. He is currently working toward his Fellowship with the Society of Actuaries.
Experience
Since joining Milliman, Brad has performed work for a variety of clients, including large employers and health plans. Brad’s experience includes:
- Preparing Incurred But Not Paid (IBNP) estimates
- Conducting Medicare Advantage Part C bid modeling
- Performing data analyses of health claims
- Projecting healthcare costs
- Participating in research projects
- Analyzing, interpreting, and extrapolating data
Prior to working at Milliman, Brad worked as an actuarial analyst for a health plan in California. There, he analyzed future financial impacts during contract negotiations with healthcare providers.
