Sam Elsherbeiny
Sam Elsherbeiny is a principal and senior defined contribution implementation consultant who leads the implementation team for Milliman’s Employee Benefits Administration Practice. He joined the firm in 2015.
Experience
Sam has been in the retirement industry since 1995. His responsibilities include new business implementation, development and delivery of plan level enhancements for existing client base, and thought leadership for process improvement.
Prior to joining Milliman, Sam was director of implementations and conversions for The Newport Group. In this role, he was in charge of a specialized team of project managers responsible for onboarding all nonqualified retirement plans (transition and startup) onto the platform for clients ranging from small propriety shops to Fortune 500 companies.
Sam also served as assistant vice president-director of operations for Aon Hewitt’s executive benefits practice. In that position, he directed the teams responsible for all of the day-to-day administration and recordkeeping responsibilities, ongoing product support and maintenance for their institutional clients, and the implementation of new business.
Sam has extensive experience in managing several different operational teams servicing retirement plan clients. He specializes in plan conversions on multiple types of plans such as 401(k), 403(b), 457(f), and top-hat deferred compensations plans.
