Bartosz Gawęda is a member of the Milliman team in Vienna, Austria. He joined the firm in 2021. He is currently involved in a long-term Non-Life IFRS 17 project for Munich Re.
Experience
Since joining Milliman, Bartosz has been involved in the creation of two research papers related to AI usage in life insurance, including extraordinary data sources. Additionally Bartosz is part of Generative AI DACH working group and is exploring uses cases for actuaries.
Before joining Milliman, Bartosz worked for six years in the Actuarial Department of KPMG Poland, and left as a manager. During his work he was responsible mainly for IFRS 4 and Solvency II audits, along with advisory projects in the area of Big Data (motor pricing, AI).
