An analysis of member retention patterns for adult rare disease cohorts to support evaluating multiyear payment arrangements for novel therapies

When evaluating multiyear payment arrangements, it's important to assess retention rates for patients with rare diseases. This study found subscriber retention is high for adults diagnosed with a rare disease and excluding this assessment could lead to inaccurate expectations for health insurers and plan administrators.
