COVID-19 vaccine administration options under Medicaid

While the federal government is initially providing the COVID-19 vaccine to providers at no cost, the reimbursement for administration of the vaccine remains the responsibility of individual states. Medicaid has an important role to play in ensuring coverage of and access to the COVID-19 vaccine.
