This report provides data on the burden of diabetes on various subsets of the U.S. population. Research focused on the following topics for each population group: prevalence of diabetes, complications related to diabetes (including mortality), cost of care related to diabetes, treatment and healthcare resource utilization, and presence of diabetes risk factors.
