This report provides a description and evaluation of OnTrak Inc.’s approach for estimating cost savings from its program to enhance treatment and care for untreated or undertreated behavioral health conditions. OnTrak contracts with health plan partners to offer a 52-week program for patients. Our peer review found the savings reconciliation methodology employed by OnTrak to be a reasonable execution of a pre-post study design, given the circumstances of its implementation and delivery. The report also discusses considerations and limitations to keep in mind when relying on this type of study design.

This report was commissioned by OnTrak, Inc.
